So long… but not goodbye!

3 June 2019

To all of our friends, followers and customers,

It’s with mixed emotions that I let you know that from today I will be stepping away from my role as Director of IntraQuest Community CIC. Our business continues to grow, however it’s time for me to pursue other opportunities.

Almost 5 years ago I was lost. Having just been made redundant and reeling from the sudden loss of my younger brother, I had no idea what life held in store for me next. In a twist of fate, I was introduced to Karen. Shortly after, Karen, Jen and I collaborated on our first piece of training together. It was like we’d known each other for years. Over the following months, I began to work more closely with Jen and Karen, eventually becoming a partner in the business. Since then, we’ve delivered training to over 3000 delegates all over the UK. We’ve written a book together. We’ve raised over £100,000 to invest in community projects. We’ve supported many families across Oldham and Greater Manchester. And we’ve won both national and global awards. I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented, dedicated individuals who will never be forgotten. I’ve also had the absolute honour of working with two inspirational young women whom I am proud to call life-long friends.

The journey hasn’t been without its challenges, and I’ve learned more about myself in the last 5 years than I had in the preceding 35, I can tell you! I want to thank all of our customers, our friends and our advocates for all of your business and support over the last almost 5 years. It has truly been an incredible time.

I will of course still be working with Karen and Jen in the future, but me stepping away from directorship will allow them to grow the business in the direction it’s destined to go. I’m so excited to see where it takes my dear friends, and can’t wait to jump back on the ride every now and again.

Who knows what the future holds for any of us – nothing is permanent, everything is ‘now’. IntraQuest is an incredible enterprise filled with talent, passion and determination. I wish it, and all of its people, every success.

Karen and Jen – you took me in when I was lost. You helped me fix what was broken. You let me go when I was ready. You’re awesome. Thank you.

Big love,

Neil
